As a qualified lawyer in intellectual property, Alice has been voted one of the 500 Leading Lawyers in Asia from 2002 to 2007. She had previously worked with several international law firms and had served many distinguished clients from different walks of life including multi-national companies, listed company and creators/inventors from numerous industries.

In 2004, she started her own business combining creativity with sound business knowledge and become the first to one-stop services in areas of intellectual property, branding and marketing and positioning strategy, investigation, business partner hunting. Alice is also specialized in art, psychology and mind-mapping.

Dr. Lui was appointed as a Vice-President of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is responsible for PolyU's applied research and development, product commercialization as well as partnership development with the business and industrial sectors. Dr. Lui is promoting collaboration between the PolyU and private sectors through applied R&D, business and enterprise development, as well as management and executive development.

Dr. Lui has also looked after the collaborative activities on the Chinese mainland and has established international training centres, colleges and research institutes in places like Hangzhou, Xian, Wuhan, Shenzhen and Zhuhai in the past seven years. He also helps to strengthen the cooperation and technological development among PolyU, 19 universities on the mainland and 3 universities in overseas through the International Strategic Technology Alliance.

Dr. Lui is the Founding Chairman of the Society of Automotive Engineers - Hong Kong, Past President of the Hong Kong Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology 2002 as well as Honorary Presidents and Honorary Advisors of various commercial, industrial and professional associations. Dr. Lui is frequently invited to act as judging panel member, organizing chairman or guest speaker for different competitions, talks, seminars and international conferences.

 
 

Ms Bianca Ma Kin San is the Managing Director of Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited.

Being a MBA graduate from the University of Ottawa, Canada, Ms Ma began her career in advertising and marketing, working for such well known companies as Hill & Knowlton, Leo Burnett, DMB&B, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Foote Cone & Belding.

Ms Ma first joined Metro Broadcast in 1994 as Director of Marketing, and was promoted to Sales & Marketing Controller after one year’s time owing to her outstanding contribution in bringing Metro’s first breakeven results in its history.  From 1998 to 2001, she worked briefly at MTV Asia and Hutchison Telecommunication.  In 2001, she was invited back to Metro as Group Sales & Marketing Director. In 2006, Ms Ma was promoted to Managing Director, a position that she continues to hold today, overseeing a staff of 200.  Emphasizing on team spirit, Ms Ma leads Metro to emerge from a firm with blur corporate identity to one with 3 distinctive radio channels and a high-spirited staff.

Acting upon the vision to take Metro Broadcast to the next level beyond the realm of sound broadcasting media, Ms Ma introduces many new initiatives to the company portfolio, major achievement includes Metro being the first and only radio station in HK that has simulcast programs with the Mainland.  Under Ms Ma’s leadership and commitment to shoulder social responsibility, Metro’s market share and revenue growth rates both rocketed, appearing as a profitable market innovator while being recognized by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service as a “Caring Company” for six consecutive years.

In December 2007, the Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Association named Ms Ma as one of “China’s 100 Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs” and In July 2008, Ms Ma was being awarded as the “Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs Award 2008” by the Hong Kong Women Professionals & Entrepreneurs Association.

 

Mr. So is a veteran in the electronics industry with 40 years of experience. He has in-depth knowledge and wide exposure in both electronic components and products. He was with STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd, a semiconductor supplier, for 18 years, holding various senior positions, including those as Senior Director of Marketing, Asia Pacific and President of Greater China, contributing to the meteoric rise of STMicroelectronics to be the top leading semiconductor supplier to the Asia-Pacific market, especially that of Greater China.

He started his career when he was invited to join as an engineer in the start up team for Motorola Semiconductors Hong Kong Ltd. He was expatriated to Singapore to start up the operations there. Mr. So later became Managing Director of DuPont Hong Kong Ltd., heading up all electronics related businesses as well as managing central support to all other businesses of the company in Asia.

Mr. So is also a member of the Rotary movement which is committed to development of leaderships in business and communities in the society. He was also involved in church activities, and has been a Church Council Member for over 20 years.

Irving Koo is Founder and Managing Director of Trion Pacific Limited, a Hong Kong-based consultancy specializing in marketing and communications solutions. He was formerly a Director of Jardines Pacific Limited with specific responsibility for the group's trading and distribution activities (JOS. IKEA, etc.) and later its travel services portfolio and more recently Group Marketing & Corporate Relations Director of CLP Holdings. He was Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong from 1998 to 2000 and is currently an Executive Committee member of the Hong Kong Management Association.

In community services, his main interest is in education with a succession of senior government appointments, including chairmanship of the Quality Education Fund (1998 – 2003). He is currently Chairman of the Hong Kong Examination and Assessment Authority and a member of the University Grants Committee and the Education Commission. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Hong Kong Arts Centre.

Irving Koo is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with a BA (Chinese Language and Literature) and a MBA degree.
