Maoxian Emergency Housing Camp provides housing for 2000 families with a total population of about 8000 after the Sichuan earthquake.

There was no water supply other than the nearby river, which was badly polluted due to the runoff from the debris left by the earthquake.

Result: Dedication Ceremony was successfully held on 6th April 2009. The windmill, in a normal and windy afternoon, fills the water tank in 4 hrs while it takes only 3 hrs during summer time.
